Strange Laws in the U.S. Alabama: No ice cream cones in your back pocket This law was enacted to prevent horse theft. Apparently, horse thieves placed the sweet delights in their back pockets to lure their “new” horse back home.Friday Notes
- Mid-term reports were sent home today. Please initial them and return to school on Monday.
- There was a cut and paste error in the Language A student fair folders. The minimum length requirement for the body of the paper is 4 paragraphs: intro, author, book, and conclusion. But on another page it says 3 page length. Three pages is Language B. Language A is 4 paragraphs. As always, contact Mrs. Bergstrom with questions.
- We sing in church again on Sunday, February 12.
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
