She attended grade school at Berea Lutheran in Inver Grove Heights, then Immanuel Lutheran in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, for high school. She continued on there for college, where she obtained her Education degree. She taught grades 1-4 in Saginaw, Michigan, for 3 years before getting married and moving back to the Twin Cities to start a family. During this time, she taught enrichment classes at a local childcare center for 10 years. |

Originally from southern Minnesota, Laura attended Immanuel Lutheran School in Mankato before earning her degree in Comprehensive English Education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She previously taught high school English but now loves teaching little ones about Jesus and His love. |
