The “sixth sick sheik’s sixth sheep’s sick” is believed to be the toughest tongue twister in the English language.Friday Notes
- We are singing in church this Sunday. We will be singing hymn #391: Blessed are the Sons of God. If your children haven’t been here to sing much, please remember that we do work hard on singing together as a group and we do ask for your children’s participation. If you cannot be here, please make sure to communicate that to one of the teachers.
- The children brought home all of their snow gear to be washed since the hallways were smelling like sweaty, wet clothes. Please remind them to bring them back on Monday.
- Our Valentine’s Day party will be on Friday, February 17. We could still use a couple of parents to help host. Please let Mrs. Hein know or add your name to the sign up list in the hall if you are willing and able to help.
- In connection with the Valentine’s Day party, the children should bring some kind of Valentine’s card collection box. If you have not been at Grace previously, the students usually decorate some kind of box, bucket, bag, or bin for this purpose. They do a great job coming up with original ideas and everyone looks forward to seeing what they come up with.
