Friday Notes

  • Mid-term reports were sent home today for some, the rest will be sent home on Monday. Please initial them and return to school.
  • There is Christmas Eve rehearsal again this Sunday. Practice will begin after church and go until about 12:45.
  • There is a fundraising opportunity if anyone shops at The Holy Land Grocery and Restaurant in Minneapolis. The school/non-profit donation program is where you collect the Hummus coupons (which are printed on the flip side of all of their 8 oz hummus packaging only) and we mail it to them. They then mail a check for the number of coupons we sent Each coupon is worth $0.25. For example ,if we collected 100 coupons they would send us a check for $25.00.
  • We will be singing in church for the Candlelight service next Wednesday, December 20 at 7:00 in the evening. The is preceded by a Christmas meal at 6:00 to which everyone is invited.
  • Our Christmas party will be on Friday, December 22. Lunch will be provided. A note from the party hosts: “The Christmas party this year will have a little twist: an ugly sweater contest. Wear your most festive ugly sweater for a chance to win a prize. Don’t have an ugly sweater? There will be prizes for most red and most green as well!”
