Friday Notes

  •  Our annual parent night is Monday evening at 7:00. This is a meeting to talk about some of the things we are doing at school or to answer any questions that parents may have now that school has been in session for a few weeks. Children do not attend this meeting, so often it is just one parent from the family that comes. Refreshments will be provided.
  •  Picture day will be next Wednesday, September 28. If someone is willing to assist with getting the kids outside for their pictures, please speak with Mrs. Hein. We will probably begin around 9:30 or so. Pastor will take the pictures and they will be ordered from Sam’s Club. Order forms were sent home today. If you do not want to buy pictures, please send the form back with 0s in the blanks.
  •  Our field trip is next Friday. We will need to leave by 9:00 a.m. and will return to school by about 2:25. Each child also needs to bring a sack lunch. Please do not send anything other than disposable containers with them. Obviously, there will be no microwave use that day. School will dismiss at the regular time of 3:15. Permission slips (one per family) will be sent home on Monday. Please sign those and return to school by September 30.
