  • Don’t forget to submit your enrollment applications.
  • Next week we have our Iowa Basics testing. Believe it or not, most of our students look forward to these tests! There is nothing that the students can do to study for these tests. We find that it’s best not to make too big of a deal about the testing as we don’t want to add any unnecessary stress. We use the information gathered to look at the growth of our students from year to year and we will get this information to parents after we have received it. Please note that we will have some classes as well since the testing is only in the morning.
  • Next Friday, April 29, Pastor Hein will be taking the 7th and 8th graders to Immanuel Lutheran High School in Eau Claire, WI for Visitor’s Day. They will be leaving from school at 6:00 a.m. and returning that evening sometime. Parents will be contacted with an estimated time of arrival back at school. A permission slip was sent home with the students today. Please sign and return it by Monday. I
  • On Friday, May 6, the 5th-8th graders will be going to Inver Grove Heights for a joint field day with other area CLC schools. We will be leaving school around 9:40 and returning around the normal dismissal time. Stay tuned for more exact times. We are looking for another driver, so if anyone is able to help out with that, please let Mrs. Hein know. The kindergarten through 4th grade will NOT have school that day.
