Friday Fun

It is easy to get into, but hard to get out of. What is it?

Friday Notes

  • Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour Saturday night.
  • We usually have a spirit week the week leading up to the CLC grade school basketball tournament, but since no one from Grace is playing in it this year, it got overlooked. We decided to have spirit week March 18-22. It is not required that the students participate, but it’s fun, so please consider! The days will be as follows:
    •  Monday – pajama day
    •  Tuesday – crazy hair day
    •  Wednesday – dress up day (“church” clothes, not costumes)
    •  Thursday – color day
      •  1st grade – light yellow
      •  2nd grade – light green
      •  3rd grade – purple
      •  4th grade – blue
      •  5th grade – green
      •  6th grade – yellow
      •  7th grade – orange
      •  8th grade – red
      •  Teachers – black
    •  Friday – hat day
  • If you plan on sending your 6th-9th grader or pre-camper (ages 5-10) to summer camp, registration opens on March 31. This is the year that the camp is held on the ILC campus. Spots fill up very quickly, so if you intend to register, you are best off to do it as soon as possible on the 31st.
  • Singing dates for the rest of the school year:
    • Sunday, March 17
    • Sunday, April 14 (Palm Sunday mini concert)
    • Friday, April 19 (Good Friday)
    • Sunday, April 21 (Easter)
    • Sunday, May 19 (Confirmation)
    • Sunday, May 26 (8th grade Graduation)
