Strange Laws in the U.S. Alaska: Children should not build snowmen taller than themselves Alaska has experienced pretty severe snowstorms and during these situations it is hard to distinguish between the snowmen and real children covered in snow.Friday Notes
- We are singing in church this Sunday. We need everyone to be here as we have a verse where only the boys sing and one where the girls sing. We especially need the boys to be here as there are fewer of them. If you are not here for Sunday School, please be at church by 9:40 a.m.
- There was a cut and paste error in the Language A student fair folders. The minimum length requirement for the body of the paper is 4 paragraphs: intro, author, book, and conclusion. But on another page it says 3 page length. Three pages is Language B. Language A is 4 paragraphs. As always, contact Mrs. Bergstrom with questions.
- The Valentine’s Day party is next Friday, February 17. The party will start at noon with a lunch of sloppy joes, chips, apple slices, carrot sticks, lemonade, and an Oreo treat. The children should still bring a morning snack. Valentine’s Day boxes may be brought to school between Wednesday and Friday next week. Mrs. Hein will email a list of children’s names so that you have all of them for filling out the Valentine’s Day cards.
