- We are working on memorizing the books of the Bible. Pastor Hein has them recorded in a youtube video which may be helpful in memorizing them. You can find both the Old and New Testament at

- We try to start devotion promptly at 8:00 so it is helpful if your children can be at school earlier than that in order to get settled in and be ready to go into the church on time.
Recommended time to come is anywhere between 7:30 and 7:55.
- We will be singing in church on Sunday, September 15. The service will be at 10:00 a.m.
- Please consider downloading the Box Tops for Education app to your phone so that you are able to scan receipts for our school to earn a little extra cash. Attached to this email is a letter
describing the program along with a QR code to download the app. There is also a list of eligible products attached. If you are uncomfortable getting the app, you are welcome to send your
receipts to school and Mrs. Hein will scan them. Receipts must be scanned within 14 days of purchase
- God-willing, Pastor will be taking our school pictures sometime this month. As we did last year, we will send you the digital photos so that you can print whatever pictures you would like.
- Please make sure that your child has closed-toe shoes for recess. The parking lot can be very unforgiving on toes that are exposed!
**Student Scoop**
It was an exciting first week at Grace Lutheran School. There are 25
students this year, including the new addition of Pre-K to our school. One
of our
teachers, Mrs. Bergstrom, had a birthday on Monday, August 26.
The students are looking forward to the fun school year
ahead of them!
