Strange Laws in the U.S.
Nevada: You
can’t pawn off your dentures.
Not sure why you would want to buy used dentures but apparently it was an actual
business activity in Nevada until state officials put a stop to it through an edict. Don’t
worry about crossing the border to New Mexico to cash in on your false teeth as it is
illegal there as well.
Friday Notes
- This Sunday is our first rehearsal for those who will be here for the Christmas Eve service. Practice will begin after church and go until about 1:00.
- Our annual Northtown Mall concert is on Friday, December 15, at 2:00 p.m. The children should wear black bottoms and white tops. We will also need a couple of drivers to help transport the
students to the mall.
- We will be singing in church for the Candlelight service on Wednesday, December 20 at 7:00 in the evening. This service is preceded by a Christmas meal at 6:00 to which everyone is invited
- Our Christmas party will be on Friday, December 22. There are only two parents signed up to host the party and we could really use at least one, maybe two more. Let Mrs. Hein know if you
can help fill this need. The party will begin at noon with a lunch served by the hosts.
- Names were drawn for the Christmas gift exchange. A reminder that we ask that cost of gifts bought does not exceed $10/person.
