Friday Notes

  • 1st grading period report cards will be sent home on Friday, October 9. We have parent/teacher conferences on the calendar for Monday, October 12. However, we are not going to schedule every family for a conference like we usually do. If you feel that you want to meet with the teachers, we will be available for a meeting. Please let Mrs. Hein or Mrs. Nelson know if you want to set up a time.
  • Please keep encouraging your children to study their memory work. Remember that grades K-5 recite every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, grades 6-8 every Monday and Tuesday. Memory work is written in the assignment notebooks and the slips are placed in the pocket of the assignment notebook. Memorizing is a big part of what we do at Grace so we consider it very important that the students keep up on their memory work.
  • If you have any clipped box tops at home, please send those to school in the next couple of weeks. Our Box Tops for Education submission is due November 2. Microwave Schedule: Monday – Thursday – Doucette K. Baker Nelson Craven Tuesday – Jankowski A. Baker Ude Kerns Vandeveer Wednesday – Friday – Wales Oman Rinne
