Friday Fun

What is the one thing that all wise men, regardless of their religion or politics, agree is between heaven and earth?

Friday Notes

  • It’s hard to believe that we are back in school, but here we are! We had a really great first week and the students seem to be back in a routine already. It is our prayer that the year will go as smoothly as the first week.
  • Remember that Monday is Labor Day so there is no school.
  • There is an update to the cleaning schedule for the year, so a new calendar was sent home this week. Please throw out the calendar you have and replace it with the new one. School cleaners are also announced in the Friday Note and the church bulletin.
  • Our first field trip is on Tuesday, September 24. We will be going to the Wargo Nature Center to take part in the Heritage Lab. The Heritage Lab program is a full day, outdoor historical program that is held for several weeks each fall. Students rotate through eight different educational stations. At each station, students participate in hands-on activities related to the overall historical theme. We will need drivers and chaperones for the field trip. If you are able to help out in this way, please speak to Mrs. Hein.
  • We are currently working on learning the books of the Bible. Pastor has two youtube videos where he speaks the books of the Bible which might be helpful if your children are struggling. You can find them here:
