Hilarious Homophones
Why did the bread have holes?

Friday Notes

Answer to last week’s Hilarious Homophone: What’s the scariest lake in which to swim? Answer: Lake Erie (eerie)

  • From last Sunday’s bulletin: Due Pastor Hein’s trip (to Liberia), a visitation team from Immanuel Lutheran High School, College, and Seminary will be presenting a Christian Education Sunday here at Grace. Professor Paul Sullivan will be our guest speaker, teaching us about the great need of passing on to our children the teachings of God’s Word. During Bible Class, Prof. Sullivan will also address how things are at Immanuel by interviewing two students, David Hein from the high school and Zack Sippert from the college. It should be a valuable presentation for all our parents and youth to hear. The upper two levels (4th-8th graders) of Sunday School will join Bible Class.
  • Mid-term grades were sent home today for grades 1 – 8. Please look them over, initial the bottom and return them to school on Monday.
  • We are tentatively adding a kindergarten day on Friday, December 2, for a field trip. Because we are having a music fair this year in April, we will be attending the Minnesota Orchestra’s presentation of Peter and the Wolf. We tried to get tickets for a kindergarten day, but none were available for those dates. We are just awaiting confirmation that we did indeed secure the tickets for that date.
