    Friday Fun

    Strange Laws in the U.S. Tennessee: Don’t bring skunks into Tennessee. Tennessee has a law against the unlawful importation of skunks. It states that “It is unlawful for any person to import, possess, or cause to be imported into this state any type of live skunk, or to sell, barter, exchange or otherwise transfer any live skunk, except that the prohibitions of this section shall not apply to bona fide zoological parks and research institutions.”

    Friday Notes

    • There is NO SCHOOL Friday or Monday for the Easter holiday. School will resume on Tuesday.
    • We sing in church Friday evening at 7:00 for the Good Friday service and Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. for the Easter service. If your children will not be there, please let one of the teachers know ahead of time.
    • The annual student fair is next Friday, April 5. It starts at 7:00 p.m. The children will not need to be at school before 6:45. Parents are asked to bring bars or cookies or some other treat for afterwards.
    • The schedule for singing for the rest of the year:
      • o Friday, March 29 – Good Friday (7:00 p.m.)
      • o Sunday, March 31 – Easter (9:00 a.m.)
      • o Sunday, April 21 (10:00 a.m.)
