Friday Notes

Answer to last week’s Hilarious Homophone: Why couldn’t the pony talk?

Answer: Because it was a little horse (hoarse)

Kindergarten parents, please return the envelope that your child’s mid- term grades were sent home in. You may keep everything that was inside, but we reuse the envelope. Also, please make sure to send a change of clothes that we can keep at school in case of an accident. Thanks!
If you have not turned in your picture order form, please do as soon as possible. If you are not ordering pictures, please let Mrs. Hein know so that your name can be crossed off the list.
If you are ordering books from the Scholastic book order, please make sure that you do so before midnight tonight.
Our field trip to Aamodt’s Apple Farm is next Tuesday. At this point it looks like it will be about 68° but please pay close attention to the weather so your children know how to dress for the day. Please send a sack lunch with your children – disposable containers, plastic sandwich bags, etc. We will plan on leaving around 9:40 and will dismiss after we return to school sometime in the early afternoon. Mrs. Hein will contact all families when we are leaving so that you know approximately when to be at school to pick up your children.
The next time that we sing in church will be Sunday, October 9. We will be singing “Lift High the Cross” for Mission Festival.
