Answer to last week’s Hilarious Homophone: What cake do baseball players like best?

Answer: Bundt (bunt) cakes

Mid-quarter grades were sent home today in the green Friday folder. There are three more weeks before report cards come out, so this update will give you an idea of how your children are doing and where they may want to try to improve. Parents, please initial the bottom of the sheets and return them to school on Monday.
Also included in the Friday folder is an order form for pictures. Pastor Hein went ahead and chose the best of the photos so we will not be emailing any “proofs.” Please try to send your order, along with payment, by early next week. Kindergarten families who don’t have older siblings, I will get you your order forms on Sunday.
This Sunday we will be singing Hymn #10, “This is the Day the Lord Hath Made.” If your children are not here for Sunday school at 9:00 (which we encourage!), please have them here by 9:45 so that we can go through the hymn before the service. Following the service will be the annual church picnic to which everyone is invited to stay.
