Thirty men and only two women, but the women hold the most power. Dressed in black and white, they could fight for hours. Who are they?
- Last week’s Friday Fun:
Using only addition, how do you add eight 8s and get the number 1000? 888+88+8+8+8
- The kids are singing in church this Sunday. If they are not already here for Sunday school, they should be here by 9:45 so that we can go through the hymn before church. Following the service, we will have our annual church picnic. Come for the food and fellowship! Meat and beverages will be provided, but families are asked to bring a salad, dessert, or chips to share.
- Beginning September 23, Mrs. Bergstrom will begin having office hours at school for parents to come and ask questions, raise concerns, or just check in and chat about school. Feel free to stop in on Wednesday afternoons prior to picking up your students. Emails are also still welcome at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- School pictures will be next Thursday, September 24. We try to get these done in the morning so that hair and clothes do not get messed up. A few days after the pictures are taken, Pastor will likely send you all an email with the different poses. You will be asked to select a pose # and let Mrs. Hein know how many wallets, 4×6, 5×7, or 8x10s that you would like to order. Prices last year at Sam’s Club were:
8×10 – $1.46 5×7 – $.38 wallets – $.17 for 2 4×6 – ?
- We did get signed up with the Kwik Trip Moola milk cap program. If you buy your milk there, you can now bring in your washed milk caps.
For the Record
