Friday Notes
- Report cards will be sent home on Monday. Please sign and return the envelope but you may keep the report card itself. We will be holding parent/teacher conferences on Monday, October 16. There is no school that day. Please speak to Mrs. Hein to set up a time for your conference. We generally try to hold the conferences between 8:30 and 2:30. You should plan on 15 minutes/child.
- Now that we are into October, the mornings are quite cool. Please make sure that your children are dressed appropriately for the weather and that they have jackets for recess. It’s never fun to have to stay in for recess because you don’t have a coat!
- Remember that the children are singing in church on October 15. For the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation, Grace is participating in an October pulpit rotation with four other CLC churches so we will have a guest preacher that Sunday.
- We have our field trip to the Ordway Theater on Monday, October 23. If you can chaperone, please let Mrs. Hein know and also how many children you can take in your vehicle. We will need several volunteers for this. The performance is scheduled to begin at 10:30 am and it runs about an hour.
